Locations: SGP intentionally scouts and chooses an ideal location depending on the season, foliage & colors. If the location was not pre-announced when signing up, you’ll be notified a week before the session with specific details on where to meet with address and any other helpful details. Sessions are in Winston Salem unless noted otherwise when you sign up.

How does a mini session differ from a full session?
Mini-sessions are simply a fast track to a handful of amazing images of your family. Many families often comment on how amazing 20-minute sessions are for their children, because they have such a limited attention span. It’s easy for everyone and super affordable! Another benefit of a mini? These sessions are offered on a weekend or school holiday so it makes it easier for your calendar too whereas full sessions* are usually M-F only.
*SGP offers fully customized sessions, which include a design consultation, multiple locations of your choice, no time limit, options for changes of clothes and more co-creation in artistic visions.
How long will it take for me to get my portrait gallery?
Typical turnaround time is 7-10 days at which time you’ll receive an email that your private, password protected gallery is ready to view and all the details to access it.
How many images will I receive from my mini session?
You’ll be pleased with how many amazing images you will receive from our time together. Your gallery will include at least 25 images to choose from. The number of images vary depending on group size and how many combinations we play with. From these images, you will select your favorite 2 and receive them as digital files.
What is the purpose of the private online viewing gallery?
A private online viewing gallery (password protected) is sent to you via email, once your collection is ready to be viewed. Within this site you can browse your images, choose your selected digital files included in this mini package, and select additional prints if desired. This gallery offers clients many options and at the same time, there’s no obligation to purchase anything. You are free to take your 2 complimentary images and enjoy!
What are digital files and a print release?
Digital files are a hi-res, fully edited jpeg of your images. These files can be simply used on social media platforms or as a large wall canvas.

What if it rains?
Unfortunately, if it rains on a scheduled outdoor session we will have to reschedule.
High winds will also result in rescheduling. You will be top priority if we have to reschedule.
How do I book my mini session?
Easy! Click HERE and make your reservation from the dates available. All sessions are paid in full when reservation is made.
Can I request a refund?
Unfortunately there is no refund. I can, however, give you an opportunity to reschedule within the same calendar year for another mini session.
